Editorial policy
Grand News Analysis aims to make its explanations accurate, legible and fair to the evidence. We identify the limits of a claim rather than stretching material beyond what it supports.
Accuracy and sourcing
We check names, quotations, dates and the context of material used in an article before publication. Claims are described in proportion to the support presented; an allegation, interpretation or single account is not recast as an established fact. When a piece relies on an example, we make clear what the example can and cannot demonstrate.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for relevance and explanatory value. A proposed partnership does not buy coverage, a favourable conclusion or control over an article's findings. Where a relationship could affect how readers understand material, we disclose it clearly alongside that material.
Corrections
Readers can use the Contact page to identify a possible error and provide the relevant passage and explanation. We review correction requests, amend confirmed errors and make the nature of a substantive correction clear to readers. We do not silently preserve a claim we know to be wrong.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid placements and other partner material are labelled where they appear, separately from editorial work. We also identify illustrations generated with AI where they are used, so readers are not left to mistake them for documentary images.
A claim deserves a closer look
Good reading starts by separating what is reported from what is inferred. We make room for evidence, context and uncertainty before reaching a view.
